El Monte, California – Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO of M.C. Gill Corporation, is pleased to announce the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) has recognized M.C. Gill Corporation with the 2012 Outstanding Technical Paper Award for Design and Engineering. The ACMA Technical Papers Committee also selected M.C. Gill Corporation as the winner of the 2012 Best Overall Technical Paper award. Matt Lowry, Director of Research and Development; M.C. Gill Corporation, presented the paper titled “A Novel Approach to Manufacturing Foam-Filled Honeycomb Sandwich Structures” to ACMA members who were gathered at the Composites 2012 Salute Innovation and Industry Service awards luncheon in Las Vegas, Nevada. Matt Lowry was the lead scientist in developing the process and product described in his paper.
