El Monte, California – Members of the San Gabriel Valley community gathered at the Savannah Memorial Park for a special presentation to the El Monte Cemetery Association. Savannah Memorial Park, founded in 1850, is the resting place of many of the original pioneers of the San Gabriel Valley. Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO of M.C. Gill Corporation, presented a check to the association to ensure ongoing maintenance of the pioneer cemetery located on Valley Boulevard in Rosemead, California. Mr. Gill gave a similar donation to the association in 2007 for a wrought-iron security fence. In recognition, an engraved stone has been placed in the cemetery acknowledging support from Stephen Gill and M. C. Gill Corporation. M.C. Gill Corporation is the oldest, continuously operating manufacturer of reinforced plastics – called “composites” – in the world. M.C. Gill Corporation is headquartered in El Monte, CA.
