AS 9100 Rev. D 確定了 16 個可以集成到 AS9100 中的附加標準。修訂版 D 中引入的重大更改包括：
– Product Safety: awareness as to how product quality impacts safety of the end user
– Counterfeit Parts Prevention
– Increased emphasis on Risk-based Thinking
– Awareness of the individual contribution to quality and ethical behavior
– Consideration of the Human Factor in non-conformances
– Context of the Organization
– Expectations of Interested Parties
Quality Assurance Director Patrick Chiu oversaw the audit process which was conducted by AS9100 auditors over five days in late November. At the conclusion of the audit Stephen Gill shared “The quality standards in our industry get tougher every day. We’re committed to quality and staying ahead of the curve. The audit findings show that the name Gill stands for quality throughout the industry”.
