La société Gill Corporation étend sa production de panneaux sandwich en aluminium Gillfab® 4030 pour répondre à la demande croissante

El Monte, Californie ? 8 août 2024 : The Gill Corporation has expanded its production capacity for aluminum honeycomb core – aluminum skin sandwich panels to accommodate the growing global demand. These semi-structural sandwich panels, named Gillfab® 4030, are manufactured using a proprietary epoxy adhesive to bond aluminum facings to aluminum honeycomb core. They are commonly used in aircraft interiors, including bulkheads, lavatories, galleys, and as structural components for various types of furnishings. The panels are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio and low heat release properties.

La division Maryland de Gill Corporation fabrique le noyau en nid d'abeille en aluminium à l'aide de feuilles d'aluminium 5052 et 5056, disponibles en différentes densités. Les revêtements sont fabriqués en aluminium 2024-T3 ou 7075-T6 et peuvent être traités dans différentes finitions, notamment nues, Alclad, anodisées et alodinées.
