M.C. Gill Corporation Named ‘2011 Good Corporate Citizen’ By The Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County

El Monte, California –The Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County has announced that M.C. Gill Corporation has been selected as the recipient of the 2011 Good Corporate Citizens Award.

To qualify, companies must meet their limits for wastewater discharge for one year, maintain their environmental equipment and fulfill all permit requirements. M.C. Gill Corporation is among 575 companies who met these qualifications and will receive a Certificate of Recognition.

“These companies have successfully demonstrated environmental compliance,” notes Grace Robinson Chan, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Sanitation Districts. “We appreciate and applaud their efforts, because it helps us comply with our requirements and run our wastewater collection and treatment systems cost effectively.” Ms. Chan announced the certificate awardees at the meetings of the Sanitation Districts’ Boards of Directors.
