MC Gill Corporation Presents Donation to Salvation Army San Gabriel Corps

Members of the Salvation Army -San Gabriel Valley Corps and local El Monte dignitaries met with M.C. Gill Corporation Chairman and CEO, Stephen Gill to receive a donation supporting the Youth Learning Center. Stephen Gill tendered a check to Salvation Army Captain Hsu for $25,000.

Hsu states “On behalf of the entire Youth Learning Center we appreciate your continuing financial support. Last year we were we were facing closure of the center that offers tutoring to children ages one through twelve due to the drastic budget cuts statewide. Your timely gift allowed us to remain open. This year’s gift means we can continue offering services to strengthen and support the youth of our community”.

The Gill family is a long standing supporter of the Salvation Army and Mr. Gill was pleased to provide this assistance during a time of dire need.
