Milestone

Today (July 1, 2022) marks the end of my 65th year of working for Peerless Plastic Products, M. C. Gill Corporation and The Gill Corporation. This is a milestone.

When I started the company was about 15 people in a 10,000 sf building in South El Monte. My first job was roller painting Zinc Chromate primer on hot paint lok steel (I can still smell the volatiles as they flashed off). I worked summers and vacations until I graduated from college and began full time.

I have seen the company grow from 15 people to an international company with 4 divisions and over 1,000 people (before the pandemic). Our products can be found on every continent and some have even gone to the moon.

A lot of great people have worked here and still do. I would like to name them all, but there isn’t enough space.

I see a bright future for the company and look forward to seeing it unfold.
