Gillfab® 4523

Overview

Gillfab® 4523 is a high-strength sandwich panel composed of woven cloth and unidirectional fiberglass reinforced phenolic skins bonded to a Gillcore® HD meta-aramid honeycomb. Advanced design offers exceptional mechanical properties in accordance with Airbus BCC3 requirements.

Applications

Floor panels for bulk cargo compartments in Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A300/A310/A300-600.

Unbalanced facing construction provides exceptional durability needed on the panel surface without the added weight and cost of a symmetrical design
Superior impact strength and abrasion resistance
Corrosion resistant
Low smoke and toxicity emission
Self-extinguishing and resistant to flame penetration in accordance with FAR Part 25 Appendix F
Service temperature: to 180°F (82°C)
