Gillfab® 5075

Overview

Gillfab® 5075 is a family of light weight and high performance sandwich panels made from woven fiberglass reinforced phenolic facing bonded to Gillcore® HD meta-aramid honeycomb. Gillfab® 5075 is the basic construction. Gillfab® 5075T offers options of 2 mil white polyvinyl fluoride film or 1.5mil granite gray polyvinyl fluoride film on the back side of the panel. Gillfab® 5075E offers the same options on both sides of the panel.

Applications

The panel is designed for use in aircraft cabin interior structures such as galleys, lavatories, bulkheads, partitions, stowage compartments and crew rests.

Extremely low heat release, fire, smoke and toxicity values provide maximum margins for the application of most decorative finishes
Uniform, non-porous facings facilitate the application of paint or other decorative overlays with minimal surface preparation
Superior resistance to moisture and corrosion
Easily cut and machined
Available with polyvinyl fluoride film overlay for cosmetic finish
Service temperature range: up to 180°F (80°C)
