Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO The Gill Corporation, Named to Western Plastics Pioneers Hall of Fame

The Gill Corporation is pleased to announce that on October 13, 2019, its Chairman and CEO, Stephen Gill, was inducted into the Western Plastics Pioneers (WPP) Hall of Fame at their annual luncheon. The Western Plastics Pioneers endeavor to preserve the history of the plastics industry in the Western United States. The WPP established its Hall of Fame in 1978, and has since been inducting individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the plastics industry.

Stephen began his plastics career at the family business in 1957 working summers and vacations until graduating from USC, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management.

After working in positions throughout the corporation, Stephen stepped into the role of CEO in 1991 and has performed that job since. Under his leadership the corporation has grown tenfold and has acquired divisions in France, the UK and Maryland. The Gill Corporation is headquartered in El Monte, California, offers advanced composite material solutions for the 21st century, and is the oldest continuously operating, family owned company in the advanced composites field.
