The Gill Corporation Celebrates 70th Anniversary

El Monte, California – The staff of The Gill Corporation and its subsidiaries celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the company on September 11, 2015.

The Gill Corporation was founded on September 11th, 1945, in a rented garage. The operation has grown from a mom and pop operation to a global company with over 1,000 employees and four subsidiaries. Stephen Gill, the founder’s son, is CEO and Chairman of the Board.

The corporation has hosted anniversary events at multiple trade shows worldwide throughout 2015.

The Gill Corporation has a long history as a leader in the science of advanced composite materials, is the recipient of numerous awards including the Boeing Supplier of The Year and was featured on a segment of the Science Discovery Channel’s How It’s Made.
