The Gill Corporation Passes Boeing FOD Prevention Specification D6-85622 and RC-0158 Checklist Audit

The Gill Corporation Chairman and CEO, Stephen Gill, is pleased to announce that The Gill Corporation has successfully passed the 2-day Boeing FOD Prevention Program audit held at the El Monte campus.

FOD is any debris that has invaded a product and could potentially cause damage. Boeing Supplier Management notified suppliers to establish and maintain a FOD prevention program in accordance with D6-85622. The Gill Corporation Quality Department developed a formal FOD program with dedicated personnel to ensure the corporation would meet Boeing requirements. Throughout 2016, the FOD team has worked to educate personnel, review processes and procedures and facilitate any necessary changes towards the goal of compliance with D6-85622.

Boeing representatives conducted the FOD audit in late December 2016 and reported The Gill Corporation had successfully passed the audit with no findings.
