The Gill Corporation Receives CMS Gold Award

El Monte, California – CERN – The European Organization for Nuclear Research (Compact Muon Solenoid Collaboration) has awarded a CMS Gold Award to The Gill Corporation.

Beginning in 2000, the CMS Collaboration at CERN has honored industrial partners who made outstanding contributions to the construction of the experiment. The CMS Industry Awards are granted to companies who demonstrated their excellence and engagement as well as provide parts or services within specifications.

The Gill Corporation participated in supplying copper-clad FR4 sheets required for the construction of the ME4/2 muon chambers of the CMS detector.
