The Gill Corporation Receives San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership Award

El Monte, California –The Gill Corporation was recognized at the 12th Annual San Gabriel Valley Awards Gala held in Whittier, California. Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO, accepted the award for the corporation.

The event was hosted by the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership to honor outstanding individuals and organizations in the San Gabriel Valley who are making a significant contribution to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region. The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership is a not-for-profit corporation committed to the continued successful economic development of the San Gabriel Valley.

The Gill Corporation, founded on September 11th, 1945, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2015. The operation has grown from a one-man operation to a global company with over 1,000 employees and four subsidiaries.

The Gill Corporation has a long history as a leader in the science of advanced composite materials for aircraft and has been recognized with numerous awards. The most well-known being the above “Business of the Year for 2015” and the Boeing Supplier of The Year. The Corporation was also featured on a segment of the Science Discovery Channel’s program “How It’s Made”.
