Gillfab® 4109

Overview

Gillfab® 4109 is a low smoke flooring panel made from unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced phenolic facings bonded to Gillcore® HD meta-aramid honeycomb.

Applications

Designed for use as flooring in cabin compartments of commercial aircraft.

Low smoke evolution in a fire
Very light weight and low deflection
Optional thin layer of fiberglass to prevent galvanic corrosion
Service temperature to 180°F (82°C)
