Gillfab® 5509

Overview

Gillfab® 5509 panel is a light weight, high strength and low smoke aircraft sandwich panel made from unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced phenolic facings bonded to Gillcore® HK para-aramid honeycomb core.

Applications

The panel is used as a floor panel for the cockpit, main and emergency electronics bays in Airbus Industrie A380-800 aircraft.
